New York: Executive Producer Matt Musolino and New York based
production company Grand Schema have started production on a new documentary
series "Amateur America." The show documents the trials and
tribulations of adult film stars James Deen, Jayden Cole and Jayden James as
they start up a new content company and search out a new talent roster.
"I'm excited to have this show come to fruition after a
lot of hard work put in by everyone involved. It's going to be fun and
entertaining, while showing a completely different side of an industry that has
been taboo for a long time," says Exec Musolino. Showrunner and Executive
Producer Christopher J. Scott of Grand Schema adds, "This show will give a
behind the scenes look at an otherwise shunned industry, and bring out the true
stories of the people that make it one of the most profitable businesses in the
world." The series, created by Musolino and Scott, not only profiles the
start-up as it looks to become a premium adult content company, but it will
also give an intimate portrait of the lives of the people that are behind the
industry.
Jayden Cole, James Deen, and Jayden James are some of the
most prolific names in the adult film world. An excited Deen states, "I am
stoked to start this project. I hope people will enjoy the sneak peak into the
adult world as well as seeing what our real personalities are." Jayden
Cole adds, "I'm excited to showcase the positive aspect of an industry
that is consistently portrayed in a negative light in mainstream media. We've
got a great team and I'm looking forward to documenting our adventures!"
Eccentric Director Daniel "Brother Love" Martel and Editor Sam
Daughtry round out the cast as the backbone of the newco that the series if
focused on.
