New Delhi: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev who has been observing a fast at Delhi’s Ramlia Ground, on Monday asked his supporters to get ready to go to jail.

Ramdev is likely to announce his future course of action at 10 am today, in presence of some politicians who have come out in his support.

Ramdev did not announce his next course of action on Sunday and deferred it to Monday despite promising he would do so earlier.

Earlier, on Sunday the yoga guru has threatened that he might march to Parliament on Monday and court arrest if the government continued to “ignore” his long-standing demands on black money and Lokpal Bill.

Remarkably, the warning came after he wrote to the Prime Minister and reiterated his three-demands. First is to declare the black money as a national asset. He would accept the 99 percent strong Lokpal Bill however, if the amendment will be needed it will be done, and it was his second demand.

In his third demand he has insisted to make CBI independent and a more transparent procedure for appointing Election Commissioners, CAG, CVC and CBI director.

Ramdev is apparently preparing for a jail-bharo agitation as he continued with his fasts.

Ramdev said the government might be dithering on the issue of black money because its leaders and people close to it.

The Congress was not bringing in the lokpal bill because it feared its ministers would be jailed if a strong anti-graft law was put in place, he added.

Some more political leaders of various parties are likely to join Ramdev’s agitation at Ramlila Ground to support him for his long-standing demand.
