New York: UN chief urged young people from around the world to help the international community fight injustice and inequality, and become an active global citizen.
Speaking at the UN Economic and Social Council's (ECOSOC) Youth Forum, Ban Ki-moon called on youngsters to denounce injustice, and reach hands across cultures and communities.

"We may not agree on every issue – but we can all agree that violence only leads to more suffering," Ban said.
He also called on them to continue to use their voices to defend planet Earth.
"Look around your societies. Get angry at injustice. Join others in taking action to stop it," he added.
Ban also launched a digital and social engagement campaign called #YouthNow to mark the 20th anniversary of the World Programme of Action for Youth.
The campaign celebrates the achievements made so far and advocates for more action, leading up to the post-2015 development agenda. -UNifeed
