New Delhi: Mobile manufacturer company Micromax is all set to hold a second flash sale for its much-hyped Yu Yureka smartphone on Amazon India on January 22.
Registrations are now open for the second round. In order to grabs this at a price tag Rs 8,999 ($145) you need to register yourself at Amazon.in which is currently the sole retailer of Yu Yureka.
Neither the Micromax nor the Amazon have not confirmed the exact number of units that will go on sale on the said date.
It's last sale although successful, was marred by controversy as how e-commerce website Amazon India servers went through technical snag leaving a major chunk of customers waitlisted.
The Yureka is the first phone in Micromax's YU series of smartphones made in collaboration with Cyanogen. The phone is running Cyanogen OS 11 and was source of controversy between Cyanogen, OnePlus, and Micromax in India.
It has a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 with 64-bit octa-core CPU and Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory with microSD expansion, 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera, 2,500mAh battery and Android Cyanogen OS 11 on Android 4.4.4.
