Veteran B’wood filmmaker Yash Chopra passes away

Mumbai: Legendary Indian filmmaker Yash Chopra breathed his last on Sunday here in Mumbai.


The 80-year-old veteran had been admitted to Lilavati Hospital last Saturday after being diagnosed with dengue.

Chopra’s career spanned over five decades. He has given several hits to the Hindi film industry including Lamhe, Darr, Dil To Pagal Hai and Veer-Zara.

His last film, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, is set to release this Diwali.

Chopra leaves behind his wife Pamela and two sons Aditya and Uday.
