US: NASA postpones suborbital rocket launch due to bad weather

Wallops Island: The launch of a Terrier-Lynx suborbital rocket scheduled for launch September 8 for the United States Department of Defense from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia has been postponed because of inclement weather.

The new launch date is currently scheduled for September 11 between 8 and 10 p.m.

The rocket may be visible to residents in the mid-Atlantic region.
