Damascus: Syrians protest outside US embassy against anti-Islam film

Damascus: Hundreds of Syrian people gathered on Thursday outside the US Embassy in Damascus to protest against the American film "the Innocence of Islam" which allegedly abused Islam and Prophet Mohammad.

According to media reports, protesters waved placards condemning the film which is aimed at instigating religious conflicts, blaming the responsibility on the US administration which allowed the production and broadcasting of this film.
