Putin congratulates Morsi on 60th anniversary of 1952 July revolution

Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his congratulations to the newly elected President of Egypt Mohammed Morsi on the 60th anniversary of the 1952 July Revolution.

In a telegram of congratulations, the Russian leader expressed his desire to strengthen relations between the two countries in all different areas.

Putin also articulated his conviction that “constructive” partnership and close cooperation between Russia and Egypt on resolving current issues on the regional agenda have “great importance for ensuring stability and security in the Middle East”, informed a news release issued by the Russian side.
