Lagos: According to government officials, about 153 were killed in Nigerian Plane Crash.

All 153 people on board a Nigerian passenger aircraft flight were killed when the plane crashed into a building in Lagos.

President Goodluck Jonathan has declared three days of official mourning for the victims. An investigation has been ordered to unearth the cause of the mishap.

"The Dana Airlines flight was traveling Sunday from Abuja to Lagos when it crashed into a two-story building," said an official from Nigeria's Civil Aviation Authority.

It is unclear though if anyone on the ground was killed

Dana Airlines is a domestic air carrier that operates a fleet of Boeing MD-83 aircraft for the hour-long flight from Abuja to Lagos.
