Mubarak's health deteriorates further

Cairo: Ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s has been in critical condition since he was moved to prison.

As per prison department spokeswoman, he had to be revived twice on Monday using a defibrillator as his condition further deteriorated.  

According to media reports, the 84-year-old former President is suffering from acute depression, periodic increase in blood pressure as well as shortness of breath.

Mubarak was sentenced to life for suppressing a revolt against his regime in which nearly 850 protestors were killed.
