Washington: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is discussing the Syria crisis today with UN-Arab league’s joint envoy to the region – Kofi Annan.
The meeting comes a day after when the United Nations said that said its unarmed monitors were shot at and blocked from investigating the site of a massacre in central Hama province.
As per Syrian activists, at least 78 people, including women and children, were killed this week in the village of Mazraat al-Qubeir.
Earlier on Thursday, the White House strongly condemned the “outrageous targeted killings of civilians including women and children in Al-Qubeir in Hama province.”
