Oslo: At the invitation of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, Burmese opposition politician and former political prisoner Aung San Suu Kyi will visit Norway from June 15-18.
During her visit, she will - amongst others - give her Nobel Lecture for the Nobel Peace Prize she was awarded in 1991.
She will also take part in the annual Oslo Forum Mediators' Retreat.
Aung San Suu Kyi will arrive in Oslo in the afternoon on Friday 15 June.
She will have a meeting with Prime Minister Stoltenberg in late afternoon. After that there will be a press conference at the Prime Minister's residence.
In the evening, the Stoltenberg will host a dinner for Aung San Suu Kyi at Akershus Castle.
